It is normal to use this product for water treatment if you need a liquid filter. However, before proceeding, you will need 1 bag of filter media weighing 20 kg, which is equivalent to 25 kg of sand. The specific characteristics of the filter in each case will depend on what you need to match.
For example, a 600 filter, which typically requires 125 kg of sand, would need 100 kg of filter glass for purification. Similarly, for a 500 filter, you would usually require 85 kg of sand, but 76 kg of filter glass would suffice.
